Description

In this colorful, photographic board book, Blippi acts out the favorite preschool nursery rhyme “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes." Children can press the sound button embedded in the book to hear the song’s tune, sing along, and move their own head, shoulders, knees, and toes!

Blippi: Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes offers a uniquely joyous way for young children to become acquainted with the perennially popular nursery rhyme about parts of the body. This sturdy board book comes with a bright orange sound button embedded in the lower right-hand corner that, when pressed, plays the well-known melody. Young children can listen to the music as they turn the pages to see humorous photos of Blippi pointing to each featured body part. The book’s bold and colorful design showcases the words to the song, and on each page, Blippi encourages kids to nod their heads, shrug their shoulders, tap their knees, wiggle their toes, blink their eyes, gently tug their ears, and more. His signature energy and enthusiasm practically jump off the page and will surely be catching as young children will no doubt be singing the song and getting up to move their bodies for a fun, interactive early learning experience. Kids will gladly follow Blippi’s suggestion to play the song again and to make up a dance to go with it! Blippi knows how to inspire curiosity in young children and make learning fun. This gem of a book is a perfect example of that.
