Before I accepted God and His Son Jesus into my life, they meant nothing to me. I refused to live a life of faith and prayer. My life was like a constant hurricane with crushing winds and mangled debris. Now that I am a new creature in Christ, and older and wiser in years, I realized that God's love has always been with me; even when I rejected Him, He continued to be patient with me time after time. He spared my life. Oh, if I only had let Him guide me then as I do now, He stood with me at the most crucial times in my life. I have a joy inside me now; I can talk about my life now, my life past, and my life for the future. Some faces carry tears of sorrow and some of joy when I share my life. I am at peace with God and praise God, I am healed, and I am healed. Thank God that it is through His Grace that I have survived. Excerpt from the foreword
