A Dictionary of the Yoruba Language by the Church Missionary Society Bookshop published in 1922, is a foundational bilingual dictionary designed to translate texts between Yoruba and English.

Compiled largely under the influence of the Church Missionary Society, the dictionary's original primary objective was to eliminate language barriers between English-speaking missionaries and Yoruba-speaking communities in West Africa. The work heavily built upon nineteenth-century linguistic breakthroughs, most notably the pioneering vocabularies by Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther.
